My family are still coming to terms with the loss of our lovely mum. We remember all the times when she would make us laugh with a comment or a look and knowing that it was a little naughty. My family would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the care love, and kindness shown to our mom and also the family. I wish to thank you and the staff, carers, and other nurses at Brownlands, for the excellent care and attention that you and all the other staff gave to K in the weeks she was with you before she died. My family are so very grateful for you r excellent care. We were so impressed by the whole team. Your nurses cared for her wounds with such knowledge and kindness. Your health care assistants were so gentle. The catering staff did their best to tempt her with food and your housekeeping team were friendly and chatty. Your individualised care for mum was so appreciated. Little touches made us all feel cared for. Mum's only sadness is that she would have liked to be with you longer. You made her feel safe at a time when she was so vulnerable.
